Whenever I learn that a former colleague is sent to abroad, I sometimes get envious. Why am I not being given those kind of opportunities? Sure, I’m working at a MNC but the case of deploying abroad here is different from the others. If you got in a project and you get deployed abroad, you won’t know the exact date you’ll come back. Unlike those who are just sent abroad for weeks or months at least but not more than 6 months.
Maybe I’m just envious because of the travel. It’s not really about work but it’s about the place of work. I just want to go to places, that’s it! So being assigned elsewhere is just a big plusplus.
I know I won’t be able to see the whole world. But I’m looking forward to visit some of the other countries in the future. It might not be that long, just long enough to keep memories and keep a piece of them with me.
